FLAVONOID GLYCOSIDES FROM LEDUMPALUSTRE L. SUBSP. DECUMBENS (AIT) HULTON
Abstract
From the leaves of Ledum palustre L. subsp. decumbens (Ait.) Hulton a novel flavonoid glyco¬
side, quercetin 3-p-D-(6-^-coumaroyI) galactoside, and quercetin 3-p-D-(6-/?-hydroxy-benzoyI)
galactoside, were isolated. Their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Both
compounds showed in vitro antifungal activity against Cryptococcus moformcms, Saccharomyces
cerevisiae, Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans, as well as cytotoxicity against KB cells.
